OJSC «Attelkom» informs that on 15 August 2026 the company completed the connection of its international gateway to a major regional internet traffic exchange platform via the northern fibre route through Kazakhstan.
The connection allows Attelkom to exchange traffic directly with the largest content providers, search engines, video platforms and cloud services, without passing through intermediate operators. As a result, subscribers will notice a faster loading of popular resources and a lower delay (ping) for online services.
«This is an important step in the development of the digital infrastructure of Irad,» said the Director-General of Attelkom Samat Kasymov. «Our task is to provide every family and every business with fast, reliable and affordable internet.»
The project was implemented within the framework of the Programme for the Development of Telecommunications 2024–2028. Total capacity of the new channel is 100 Gbit/s with possibility of expansion.
All traffic is processed in accordance with the legislation of the Irad Special Economic Zone.
